About Program
Program Overview

The AA in Ministry Leadership program is designed to equip students for pastoral ministry and leadership within the local church setting, at a non-profit organization, or in a mission organization. This program is a distinct and short-term program in biblical and leadership studies for students who may not be able to commit to a more extensive program.

The AAML program provides students with a comprehensive knowledge of the Bible, a biblically-based theology, and the skills to communicate God’s word effectively in the power of the Holy Spirit. It also equips individuals with a deep understanding of biblical leadership, theological synthesis, and hermeneutic practices. Students will attain the leadership skills as well as the Biblical knowledge and understanding necessary to minister to people in the local church setting as well as in the marketplace.

The AAML program includes an apprenticeship (Practicum)—which may be completed in a church or a marketplace setting, as well as at a non-profit, or mission organization. This allows students to integrate their studies and to call in a supervised setting, helping them forge valuable relationships as they clarify their vocation and foster growth as a practitioner.
